Change Log

Samaritan's Development department will be focussed on new features to improve the ability to Scale to Enterprise. This work will not be released to clients until the entire project is complete. Each sprint will continue to have minor improvements, performance enhancements, and low-risk fixes. All future dates are subject to change.

Scheduled maintenance will occur between the hours of 11:00 PM Saturday and 3:00 AM Sunday, Central Time, on the first weekend of each calendar month.

Secure Messaging Feature
    From the Email settings, there is an option to select "Secure Message" 



This will send an email to the selected recipients:



 The link will take the volunteer to a screen where they can log in to see the message:



Improvements to the Activity Profile: Action Tab
       Chained actions are now organized into expandable groups

Closed groups are easier to read:

These additional filters help track affiliation based on when status was during a given point of time.

  NOTE: This Sprint was postponed due to the roll back of Sprint 140. 

  • Ability to create a new member profile from the leader profile. As part of the Friends and Family feature (aka Pet Therapy Program), users are now able to create new member (or pet) profiles from within eCoordinator. The Group leader or Pet Owner profile shows a button to "Add new member." This opens a new member profile.

 



  • Sign-In Station: If the volunteer has denied the location permissions on their device, a message shows asking them to allow location settings.


    Message now asks the user to turn on the location permissions for their device.

 

  • Sign-In Station: If the volunteer is out of range (using Mobile Options), the volunteer now sees a message



  • Sign-In Station: Roster Mode now includes the ability to sort the order of volunteer names by a custom field of your choosing. 

  • Automations: Log Book Automation now has the ability to add a Volunteer Assignment in the Update Field options. 


     

  • Import Tool - Allow an Identifier-type UDFs to be used as a unique identifier for the import. This helps with converting data for new clients. 

  • Activity - the End Date has been moved to the "Complete When" Tab so that you can set the end date at the same time as setting the logic for when the activity is complete. 


  • Volunteer Grid Settings: Added Vol to Activity Affiliation Status Date field to track this setting from the Volunteer grid.

  • Enhanced Submit button for Waivers makes it easier to see.

  • New Tab on Activity Profile to define what each user (volunteer or coordinator) sees as the volunteer advances through the workflow. For example, the image below represents a setting that allows the volunteer to see certain views of the activity.
