On any dropdown, there is now an option to add *is not empty or *is empty to your search criteria. Please note that this feature is currently available only for dropdown-type fields.
Selecting *is not empty will display all records where there is data in the column. For example, click on the search header's dropdown box for Application Type and select *is not empty and any records that have no data in the Application Type will not be displayed:
