# How to logout

- Go to **Account** 
- Click **Logout**

**Note:** We recommend that you always logout in this way instead of using the X button in your browser window. If you don’t, the system will think that you are still logged in which can cause issues when you try to login again. In addition, this will allow the database to refresh and reset.
