How to notify Volunteer Coordinators when a Volunteer UNplaces themselves from the Recruiter

There is an option in eC to build an automation that is triggered when a volunteer removes themselves from and opportunity or scheduled shift from the Recruiter

This feature required Administrative Options to enable. 

From the Admin Options, go to the Automation tab and choose an
Opportunity Placement or Schedule Shift Placement Type Automation.

You can set the  Apply To filters according to your needs.

Then, from the Trigger Tab, select "On Volunteer Self Unplace"

Then, choose your Actions to send and email to the Opportunity Contact, 

or to confirm with the Volunteer, or their supervisor, or take other action.
